PASS Mission

PASS is designed to close the achievement gap of our Latino/African American students by identifying causes and developing solutions through collaboration of parents, family members, educators and the community.

PASS Meetings

The PASS team will meet to discuss the racial achievement gap and ways that we can positively contribute to building parent knowledge through parent-community outreach efforts.

 Goals for the school year
  1. Mentoring:  As a group we want to serve as mentors for students and a resource for families by being available and assisting as needed before, during and after school.
  2. Parent Education: We will invite parents to PASS meetings to take part in relevant/educational topics about parenting.
  3. Increased Involvement:  PASS members will attend school events to show support of CT and to encourage other parents to join.
  4. Data in a Day:  PASS members will participate in Data in a Day and Student Forums in the Winter and Spring.
