Student Cell Phone Protocol
The primary objective of this cell phone protocol is to create an environment conducive to learning for ALL students by minimizing distractions caused by cell phone usage. This protocol aims to ensure that students remain focused on their educational activities while addressing whole well-being and communication needs.
Cherokee Trail High School teachers and administration expect that cell phones and other electronic devices will be silenced and stowed during academic time unless otherwise stipulated.
Unauthorized cell phone use in class may result in parental contact by the teacher and/or mandatory use of cell phone locker. Additional infractions may result in dean referral.

- Cell phones must be kept silent and stored during class time.
- Students are permitted free use when not in class.
- Unauthorized use of cell phones during class time is prohibited.
