Voices of Color
Cherokee Trail Voices of Color is dedicated to strengthening connections among students, families, school leaders, and the broader Cherokee Trail community to ensure every student feels seen, valued, and supported. We believe that authentic partnerships between families and schools are essential to creating a culture where each and every student can thrive.
Our purpose is to elevate the voices of parents, caregivers, and families of color by providing meaningful opportunities for dialogue, collaboration, and engagement with school leadership. Through these partnerships, we seek to cultivate a learning environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and responsive to the diverse experiences of our community.
We fulfill this mission by:
- Creating opportunities for families of color to share their perspectives, experiences, and ideas.
- Strengthening trust and collaboration between Cherokee Trail High School and the families we serve.
- Providing direct pathways for communication and partnership with school and district administration.
- Advocating for practices and opportunities that promote belonging, equity, and student success.
Together, we are committed to fostering a school community where every student has the support, opportunity, and sense of belonging needed to reach their full potential.
